Lee Barrett, from Hamden, was found around 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, by an Eastern Connecticut State University police officer inside a vehicle in a parking garage, the college said.
Barrett was determined to be dead, and the medical examiner’s office was notified and will make the determination regarding the cause of death, college officials said
The university’s campus police department is continuing its investigation.
There is no evidence to indicate foul play, the school said.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lee’s family and friends during their time of grief,” said Eastern President Elsa Núñez. “This is a tragic loss for them and our entire campus community.”
Counseling services are being made available to the campus community.
